SubmissionArticle Processing Charges (APC)
HCIS journal publishes all the papers in full open access. The author must pay Article Processing Charges (APC) to cover various costs such as peer review administration and management, professional articles PDF production, etc. The APC includes costs for additional pages, pictures, and supplements, so the author does not have to pay additional charges. No costs will be incurred for an article rejected as a result of the review.
HCIS's submission track includes two types: Fast Track and Regular Track, depending on the time required for the entire process from review to publication. Because APC varies depending on the track, the author must confirm this and pay APC.
1. Fast track (6~8 months): USD 3,400 (Korean only: KRW 3,400,000)
2. Regular track (9~15 months): USD 2,200 (Korean only: KRW 2,100,000)

Our policy concerning the page limits is as follows:
The page limits of the research paper are 13 pages for regular track and 15 pages for fast track. (Including text, figures, and tables, as well as references);Up to 3 pages can be added for an additional page fee of USD 100 / 100,000 won per page.
Survey paper must be submitted only in fast track and should be consist of at least 17 pages. (Including text, figures, and tables, as well as references); Up to additional 5 pages are allowed with the extra page charge of USD 50 / KRW 50,000 per page.
Due to the policy of the payment system, HCIS's APC payment method depends on the author's nationality.
The International author is allowed to pay APC only through bank transfer. On the other hand, the Korean author can choose between credit card payment and bank transfer.
